Not only is the luxurious Fiesta Americana all-inclusive resort on an alluring beach, but Puerto Vallarta transforms into a vibrant blend of music, food, art, elaborate costumes, and spirituality the first week of November to celebrate Día de Muertos.

In a tradition that has been declared by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a magical atmosphere honoring ancestors and loved ones in Spirit blossoms into a colorful festival. Each year, the world’s tallest ‘Calavera Catrina’, a beloved and jovial giant skeleton adorned with a feather boa, ornate dress and hat, marigolds, and more than 80 sugar skulls and memorial alters, is constructed on the boardwalk. She celebrates Mexico’s unique relationship with mortality, and symbolizes how everyone is equal in death, regardless of social status, wealth, or ambition. She reminds us that death is not an ending to be feared, but rather a transition to be embraced as a continuation of the cycle of life. ‘La Catrina’ teaches us to laugh at life’s ironies and to live fully in the moment. An ancient and sacred tradition, Día de Muertos honors how life is fleeting and should be celebrated, weaving mourning and remembrance with joy.

Located on the northwest coast of Mexico, an average of  3-hour flight from several major US cities, Puerto Vallarta (PV) has 360 days of sunshine annually.  The Pacific Ocean’s cool waters and golden sand beaches beckon with the backdrop of lush tropical jungle of the Sierra Madre mountains. More than just a coastal getaway, PV maintains a friendly small-town atmosphere while boasting the most elegant oceanfront in Mexico. Allow the vibrance of this place and the diverse skills of our teaching team to enrich your intuitive abilities.

We will not be sitting in the classroom all day, rather we will have daily workshops with a fabulous team of teachers scheduled around optional activities like Día de Muertos festivities, Yelapa waterfalls, and a Sea Turtle release.

Leading the teaching team, Julie Speetjens of Soaring Heart Energies invites you to explore many different concepts, tools, methods, and modalities with her through interesting exercises to enhance your psychic and mediumship readings and expand your mindset. She will be offering intuitive teachings, guided meditations, and paired/small group practice… all levels are  welcome! Her goal is to nourish the shift from thinking to believing to knowing, to help you move even beyond trust, so that you remove your barriers to belief to work with your spirit team and spirit communicators more effectively.

Adding multi-faceted layers to the offerings, we are honored to have several wonderful professional Psychic Mediums (who are also energy healers, shamans, past life regressionists, medical intuitives, sound healers, spiritual coaches, herbalists, ministers, and sacred ceremony leaders) from the Soul Journey Sundays team co-teaching on this retreat.

Kim Copeland, Eva Brooks, Pardis Partow, Nicole Pope, Deb Decelle, Stacy Brickel, and Nikki Hardy are all accomplished mentors of the intuitive arts who bring diverse skill sets, inspired teachings, and the benefit of decades of experience that will help you level-up your skills. Workshop topics may include: Living Mediumship, Auragraphs and Spiritual Assessments, Building the Power and Spirit Blending Techniques, Medical Intuition, Shamanic/Akashic Mediumship, Deepening Mediumship through Sovereignty, Demonstrating Mediumship, and Trauma-Informed Mediumship.

Not included in this price is your round-trip flight, travel insurance, or optional activities like sailing, snorkeling, ziplining, whale watching, etc. A valid passport is required.

Speaking of Sea Turtles… truly an unforgettable experience, you can participate in the conservation of endangered sea turtles! This unique activity not only allows you to release turtles into their natural habitat but also provides a wealth of knowledge about these magnificent creatures and the vital conservation efforts underway to protect them. You will attend and observe an endangered species, so you will receive instructions and information from marine biologists at all times.

  Due to the high volume of interest in this retreat, we have secured a second block of rooms. However, the resort raised their fees by $50 per person for these additional rooms. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, and rates are not guaranteed until deposit payments are received. The resort is Sold Out beyond this second block of rooms.

                                                              

Payment plans are available and will include an additional $50 handling fee. Payment plans require a $250 deposit with the balance split into 2 additional payments. Final payment is due September 30, 2025. Deposits are non-refundable after 14 days. Credit card refunds within 14 days incur a $150 processing fee. We do not accept Venmo or PayPal. All major credit cards are accepted, and both personal checks and Zelle are also accepted if you wish to avoid credit card fees. The tuition fees listed above do not include credit card fees. Tuition is transferrable to another participant in the case of emergency.  A detailed Refund Policy will be included with all invoices.

Average round-trip economy flights to Puerto Vallarta are less than $500 from most major U.S. cities.
